@andrzejls Good suggestion but at this point I'm just going to wait until the new version of shs , script.module.metadatautils. and SHW are released. I don't want to add any additional variables into the mix.

@andrzejls I don’t, it’s really dependent on when Angelinas gets the updates done.

Hey guys, was away from Kodi for a while. Came back to Nexusfy it and I'm experiencing the same crashing issues. Using an Amazon Fire Tv Cube. Crashes just when I'm navigating my movie library if I have Skin Helper Service and Skin Helper widgets enabled. Sometimes I'll only scroll 2 or 3 movies and boom! crash. But when I disable them it works fine. Of course I lose studio and artist logos and some info in the movie dialogue.

Here's the thing.It does the exactly the same on other skins too. I've used 3 different ones and they all crash when SHS and SHW are enabled. Kodi is literally unusable. Also this is with different versions installed. Instead of versions 1.0.43 and 1.11 I have SHS 1.2 and SHW 1.12 from Titan Bingie mod installed. Didn't make a difference.

The guy who does the Arctic Horizon 2 skin posted some info about Kodi crashing on Android devices running Nexus. Sounds like it's a Python problem.😕

I just added new show to my TV_Shows folder and run "Update Library" as I would normally do and Kodi did NOT add this show to the Library. I had to go to "Settings"--> :Media"-->"Videos..."-.. select "TV_Shows" find the show I just added to the drive and run "Scan for New Content" to add to Library.
Does anyone know why and what addon/setting controls it?. I never had this in the past.

Update:
Fixed. Permission issues on NAS MarisDB Database server.

Good morning,

I tested the 4 Addons on my Win11Pro with Kodi 20 and Nexus Skin. I don't have crashes anymore in this case, when I skip from Movie to TV and back or fast scrolling in my music folders or pictures. Music playing 2h without sometimes occuring dark backgrounds and not displaying logos.

That sounds good. Did you upgrade from 19.5 or install 20.0 fresh?.
