I am using a Andriod KDLinks A400 box running KODI. It was working perfectly until one of the files got corrupted and I had to do a reinstall. Now no matter what I do I get an external playback Active message - Press OK when finished. Nothing Happens. I am NOT to my knowledge running any external playback, but only the native one that came with the unit.  HELP!!! I am not very familiar with the inner workings here.

curiosity drove me to check out your device, it turns out your device came preloaded with kodi (vanilla install specifically devoid of addons) - https://kdlinks.com/products/a400-4k-media-player

given this information and the fact your device is from 2017 i dont believe i can assist at all, there's no way to try and support such a thing

therefor the best recommendation i can give is to install kodi onto your device in an officially accepted manner from a current official release

If you actually bought this device, how about some official support first from the KDlinks manufacturer if something "went wrong".
