I'm trying to run a ISO movie file from my local network. Somehow kodi seems not able to play it? Any suggestions ? See log file line 337: https://drive.google.com/file/d/14LH9bYk...share_link

Redirect:

the issue is that kodi is attempting to play a blu-ray iso as a dvd iso and so failing because its not a dvd iso

i tried numerous search terms but i was unable to locate any instructions to tell kodi its a blu-ray iso, everything i found kept saying to rip it into a compatible format such as mkv

hope this helps get things moving in the right direction

That is odd, Kodi should be opening the ISO and looking to see the contained file structure to determin the type of disc. Is it only this ISO that doesn't play or are there other you have that also don't play?

Use an archive program such as WinRAR or 7Zip to open the ISO to inspect it's contents to verify the contained folder/file structure.
