Hi !
I am not a dev but can monkey type, so I set up a cloud squid server, with Kodi> System> Internet> Proxy settings with default http, port 3128, username, password and Server IP.
I am on AlexElec.tv, which is a Coreelec fork ( Kodi 18, AE3.3.5-S9xxx-Dual), but this should not matter.
Things work fine as expected. My streaming is blocked if the proxy creds are missing, and streaming from addons like YouTube plugin, Pluto, Plex, PBS kids, and Weather work if creds are good.
The obvious issue is that the Kodi proxy bypasses local addresses ( default behavior I think.)
I do have a couple of streaming addons with locally installed servers, so these still stream regardless of proxy settings, e.g., TVlink Server at localhost:2020 along with its TVlink PVR client.
Is there a way for me to go into some file settings and make sure these local servers also pass traffic through the proxy ?
Will these settings be specific for such locally installed servers, or apply to all local addresses/traffic ?
