Hmm...I have an animated poster selected for the movie, but it will not display in any of the views.

If I change the line in "media_thumb" from this...

to this...

it works, but that's the only way I can get it to display.

I test others views, and work fine here, without changes the skin code. 

gif or apng extension file to work.

what are the top five extension to go with this awesome MQ9? for example animated art work for movies and TV show, artwork for music
or is everything built in the skin now a days?

I test manually only, changing the poster art and choosing one animated poster. No auto download animated gif image art using script skin helper service.

Trying to install on Vero 4k. It downloads and seems to install but then never goes off the splash screen with the red circle saying "do not press any key. Wait for the process to finish."
Have left for over an hour, and once overnight.
Have reverted to original skin, rebooted, uninstalled MQ and retried 3 times. All to no avail.
I enabled debug logging, would those show us anything that could point to why?
Anyone else run into this?

Thanks, didn't see a fix, but saw your comment about compatible versions. Vero 4k's Osmc is based on kodi 19.5.
I'll look through the logs to see if anything jumps out.

Have the same issue ..... on media player box and on chromecast tv

I resolved after spotting the fix in that post.
After it's stuck at the circle form some time saying 'don't click anything' it's ok to click something
Clicking back a few times gets you off that screen and the skin loads.
Looks great, really digging MQ9 on my Vero 4K

Ah...OK. I see...you manually assigned the animated poster as your default poster.

there is a bug in this skin. 
all my 4K movies have SDR and 8Bit logos.

It´s not a bug skin. Kodi Matrix doesn´t have support to detect HDR types. It´s used the filename in Aeon MQ9 to show the flags.

You need to edit the movie's filenames, including .hdr. and .10bit. to work. Check need dots before and after.

Previous filename
movie.bluray.mkv

after your change the filename
movie.bluray.10bit.hdr.mkv

You need to recreate your library to appear the correct flags.

Remember skin released is to use with Kodi Matrix.

Nexus and Omega Kodi versions added HDR Type support- Detect, store, and process the type of HDR in a video file.

Marcos needs change the skin code to work using Nexus and Omega Kodi versions.

Note that just 4K does not mean the content is also HDR.
