Can somebody PLEASE help me figure out why Kodi keeps crashing?!

I'm running the stable version of Kodi that's included in the Linux Mint Cinnamon Synaptic Package Manager. Here is a link to the pastebin from my system crashlog:

PLEASE help! This is so frustrating!

linux mint/ubuntu packages are not compatible with debian, conversely the debian packages are not compatible in the other direction

If the package was installed from repository of Mint then it is compatible.

The log shows string parsing issue in some plugin. You gave the crash stacktrace @Wetherbee but omitted the kodi.log part included in the tail of crashlog.
Please give debug Kodi logfile reproducing the same video so I can say what the problem can be.

I know, but if you install the version that comes with you distribution, it's supposed to work. I installed the version that came stanard with my Linux Mint 21 distro. It's Kodi 19.4. It's been working, just having a hard time with this addon!

Log files showing (orange-colored) repositories/add-ons installed on a Kodi setup which facilitates video piracy will not receive any support as per forum rules (wiki).

Kindly clean up your setup, then assistance will resume.

right on

it wasnt specified so i assumed someone erroneously put sources in from debian and then expected it to work like they do on ubuntu in the other direction

the wiki shows the recommended method for mint is from the "official Team Kodi PPA"

I guess the text "then assistance will resume" is totally invisible when I type it. I won't interfere anymore when logs are uploaded.

no its not invisible nor ignored, there was no intended assistance in my off-topic response to an unrelated comment about debian packages for linux mint

what you do is appreciated, please do not change anything
