Mod Aeon MQ 9 Multi-Mod for Kodi 20 (Nexus)
Hello Mr. @latts9923
In info screen korean letters, chinese and japanese hieroglyphs are not displayed regardless of font (such as original title or director's name, only empty squares). And it was in MQ9 from begin.
Maybe you can fix it.
Thanks.

Can somebody explain how "enable forced views" is supposed to work? I just can't seem to figure it out.

@Loondawg
When you select Enable Forced Views you will be presented with your choice of views. Let's say for example when you select an artist you would like their albums to be displayed in Wall View. Pick View 31 from the list then every time you browse into an artist their albums will be displayed in View 31 as opposed to the default (View 1 or 11) view. This way avoids you having to switch the view from the default (View 1 or 11) to View 31 for each artist the first time you browse their albums. It is basically changing the default view with added advantage of having a different default view depending on what you are viewing.

Try this version of the Arial font. Replace the font in the skin.aeonmq9/fonts folder with this one and see how it works.

TV Shows -- Seasons in KodiFlixTV (VIEW TYPE-17) the TOP Menu shows 6 entries "SHOW MEDIA CASE" with "sliders" that do nothing. Can you advise?. Thanks.

hi i have a problem with the "collection fanart" it is not visible. in the menue settings I selected "extra fanart". it all works, the background changes its fanart nicely (fanart1, fanart2, fanart3 etc..)But the movies that are in a collection don't have any fanart. The Collection poster and collection logo are visible. But not fan art.If I choose the setting "standard fanart" in the menu, the Collection fanart will be visible. But of course my extra fanart will then no longer be displayed.So my question is how can it be done that the "Collection fanart" is also displayed when "extra fanart" is selected in the menu?

@Juan Mortyme

Thanks for replying. That's how I thought it was supposed to work. I just must be doing something wrong because that's not what's happening for me.

Or maybe I have just manually set up so many views previously that it doesn't seem to be working. I guess I'll have to play around with it some more to see if I can figure it out.

If that does turn out to be the case, short of reinstalling the skin, is there a way to reset all views so they will show as the default type set by enable forced views?

Thanks again.

@latts9923, I'm currently busy with adding the media type to my video filenames. There is a small issue with video files stored in webdav folders. The skin always displays the webtv media flag, despite the text: ".dvd", ".bluray" etc has been added to the filename. Even for video files, that don't have the media type text in the filename, the skin always displays the webtv flag. I think this is being caused by the webdav rootfolder (which probably has the text webdav in its name) on the server of my provider, Do you think you can fix this issue?

EDIT: changed webdav flag into webtv flag

Hello @latts9923
This works great. Thank you.

@latts9923 I'm regularly getting a message to download the following addons:
1. Artwork Helper
2. SkinHelper Service Colorpicker
3. Favourites Script
4. Image Resource Select Addon

These addons seem to disappear spontaneously from my system, because I never use the option "Remove all orphaned addons". After re-installing these addons, I noticed that these addons have the status "orphaned".

In AeonMQ7 it was possible to edit the addon.xml to avoid necessary addons get the status "orphaned". Is there a way to do so in MQ9?

You are correct it will display the first media type it sees.
@Loondawg

Did you do a Skin Reset after installing the Mod as the instructions state?

I think it can be changed but I think the only choices are file name or path & file name. Changing it to file name will require a ton of file renaming which I for one would really not enjoy doing. I absolutely prefer having the path option.

@latts9923, Juan Mortyme

Where I said webdav flag in my previous post I meant webtv flag.

This is the main path for one of my library sources: https://webdav.providername/login credentials

Could the word "web" in webdav, be the reason why Kodi always shows the webtv flag, for video files stored in my webdav folders, although the words webdav and webtv only partly match?

Juan Mortyme, don't worry I'm not aiming to cause you extra work. I'm currently in the process of renaming my files and I understand your worries. It's indeed very time consuming. I hope there's a solution that serves us both without to much hassle.

Example
Foldername: Boogie Nights (1997)
Filename: Boogie Nights.Bluray (1997)
