EDIT: the movie genre icons are visible for the standard MQ9 views 1 and 2. In view 18, 21, 30 and 32 the movie genre icons are missing on my system. View 21 shows the video case on the location where the genre icon should be displayed. Any one else having this issue? Tested on a clean install.

Haha...didn't mean to hurt ya kid.

I need to scrub the views and remove genres from some of them...starting with view 21. I'm right in the middle of uploading updates, so that will have to come with a future update.

I am a little bit confused. You are referring to "movie genre icons" as icons ?. All I see is a text, for example, "Genre:Science Fiction / Adventure / Action". Is this is what you are referring to?.

Additions

• I added the "SHOW EXTRAFANART IN THUMBNAIL" button to the Top Menu for Shelf 3D music (View Type-25) and added code to support it. Thanks to MB1968 for the request!

You should see icons, but the movie genre icon addon (Xzener's Flat Icons) has to be installed on your Nvidia shield first. I've embedded two screenshots. View 1 shows the movie genre icons, view 18 does not on my Android TV Box.

I just noticed that in Movies top menu under "ORGANIZE" --> "ALL VIDEOS" there is incorrect amount of all videos. TV SHOWS shows correct amount.

Hey buddy, Just a heads up - Future Font & candy cane fonts missing.

EDIT: Also Star Wars option for Flags, Skin animations, and option Grab Fanart.  That Seems like a lot - I'mmas reapply and reset again, but just in case - wanted to mention this

I use "Skin Helper Service Skin Backup" to save all my customization's. Once new skin update come up and we have to run ful reset I use this backup to restore ALL of my settings/customization's. Saves me a lot of time and aggravation.

I don't use Skin Helper Service Skin Backup so I don't know it's exact behaviour. You should probably check to see how exactly Skin Helper Service Skin Backup works, if you haven't already? Obviously it copies the current settings.xml to a backup location. But, do you know for sure what the restore setting does? It could either 1) update the new settings.xml adding the contents of the backup or 2) simply overwrite the new settings.xml with the saved one. If it is the first method you're good to go. However if it is the second method then you accomplish nothing because any new setting will not have been added.

"Skin Helper Service Skin Backup creates/saves "guisettings.txt" file (settings customized and default values ) not settings structure so it does NOT copy "settings.xml" file. When new version of skin is installed and I run "reset skin" (as per "latts9923 instructions) that is when ALL settings and default GUI settings are "reset" and saved in settings.xml. Then I checked that ALL new features and "bug fixes" are implemented as designed and reflected in the skin. Then I run "Skin Helper Service Skin Backup restore". All my skin customization settings from the previous skin version are restored. This does not affect new/additional settings of the skin. They are left as they were saved by running "skin reset".  "Skin Helper Service Skin Backup" restore does not alter nor modify "settings.xml" file at all. "settings.xml" file is a file creating/setting skin "setting" structure and default setting values. "Skin Helper Service Skin Backup restore" restores only setting values that I modified from defaults and unchanged default values that were in previous skin version. I use this method for a while. Saves me a lot of time in configuring GUI on my 5 Kodi installs.

I am not sure what is going on with this.  When none of  "genre" is selected I select, for instance, "Action". "Adventure" and "Animation" and "Sci Fi" are selected as well.
