Why not include a simple uninstall, why overwrite the excact location of kodi? Why not create a new subfolder for that version of kodi (which is now outdated)... inside the c:\windash folder?
None of this makes any sense. Thank god my eset caught whatever trojan was in there, Regadless if it was a false positive or not.. All of this stuff seems a little off putting.
No automatic game detection or anything... nothing ; Im gonna completley disregard my playnite setup for something with no automatic game detector? I have to manually go into each EXE and then have no metadata for the games by default?
Do yourself a favor and dont bother trying to install this.

I see this thread coming back up here from time to time and people who want to try it and are curious about it. From the time I remember spending with it let me give you a little idea what's it like.
Essentially it's a stripped down version of Kodi that more or less reduced to a glorified launcher, the launching abilities seem to call on python scripts to launch games. However while it is an interesting concept the whole product was more style over substance. Adding games and art was incredibly basic and tedious to do, let alone grabbing or using metadata to sort your games or whatsoever (it didn't have any of that it only recognised game titles). There are add-ons right now that are already ahead in this department like advanced emulator/kodi launcher that allows you to do a lot more.
While I was very interested in it originally, it has fallen behind over the years. Also it has no way to easily upgrade to latest Kodi versions which leads me to believe that this project is dead and unless a bigger group of developers picks up on it again it probably makes more sense focusing your attention to the aforementioned add-ons as they seem to be much more future proof. While I very much appreciate all the work put into this I think what it needs more is somebody to modify the basic functionality of this stripped down Kodi version rather then a UI update. I don't mean to discredit all of the hard work put into this project it definitely look great but why not focus the efforts on working and existing versions of Kodi. Other then the skin/UI efforts this version of Kodi didn't do very much that you couldn't do with the launchers out there today ....
