If scraper, which scraper are you using?

But it leaves quite some holes and uncertainties in my library for the future. Could the add-on not at least save the processed image from the textures cache? It can be changed to download the original. I just never thought about that.

So far so good. But I want my hand-picked artwork instead. No matter what I did I could not get Artwork Dump to overwrite the existing artwork. When I re-scrape I would just get the artwork automatically picked by the scraper again of course.Did you try turning on the Artwork Dump option "Overwrite existing artwork files"? In advanced settings turn on "Enable Artwork Dump context items", then after changing artwork in Kodi, open the context menu on the movie, select "Manage...", then "AD: Download existing artwork".

Change to TheMovieDB Python for Movies and TVDB v4 for TV Shows.
You may need to rescrape your tv show library. The scraper you are using for tv shows does not scrape extended artwork including clearlogo. The same with movies.
The banned addons are the orange entries near the top of the log.
