Haven't used Ember before. But when I try to add a folder from my NAS as source I only get the message 'attempt to write readonly database'.

I have set the folder on my OMV NAS to 777. Don't know whats missing?

We are all sitting in the same boat, but we are lucky that not everybody is on our side.
