By default it's x2. How can I lower it to x1.75?

No, you can use tempo though if supported.

I'm quite sure there must be a way to edit that like you can change the default tempo up speed with advancedsettings

per the topic "fast forward speed" is changed by pressing fast forward multiple times, it cycles between 2x, 4x, 8x, 16x, 32x

the first post "By default it's x2. How can I lower it to x1.75?" seems to indicate a need to go lower than 2x?

but tempo will switch between 0.8x and 1.5x so the only thing "missing" would be changing max tempo then cycling through tempo speeds - https://kodi.wiki/view/Advancedsettings.xml

when wanting speeds under 2x*

Just keep in mind "tempo" requires adjusting audio, which is played while in tempo, thus passthrough audio is not available and the player setting "sync playback to display" must be enabled.  Tempo works OK, except skipping ahead/back tends to take a while (at least for me) to resume as the audio gets re-synced.

BTW, if you set tempo through 2.0 in advancedsettings, first ffw (x2) will actually run in tempo (with audio).
