Hello,
I am running Libreelec on a raspberry pi. It works very well !
But there is one thing I did not manage to solve: sometimes I manually rename some movies title and normally it works ... except for few of them. When I rename the movie (via "edit information" ... the change is not saved :-(). I really do not understand why 

my movies are organised in folder (one folder per movie). One of the problematic movie is this one:

folder name: Nuit de la glisse 2001 - freeman
Movie name: Nuit De La Glisse 2001 - Freeman.avi

ps: I do not want Kodi to rename the movie file but simply rename the movie title

any suggestion

Not sure where "edit information" is but you should be calling up the Context Menu on your movie, select Manage, then select Edit Title.
Is that how you are renaming the title?

Sorry I was not clear. Yes, I rename via "edit information". Generally it works ... except for some movies :-(

I try to put the same title in movie title, sorting title and original title .... same ... :-( the changes are not taken in consideration

Not sure what is happening there. Sounds like the database is rejecting the edit for some reason?
Can you provide a Debug Log that captures you trying to change the title. I might be able to see the problem.

does this help ? but I do not think this is related to rename the movie title.
