Kodi crahes on Autostart
#1
Hi everybody,

for some reasons Kodi crahes if i put it in Autostart. I suggest it happend after i installed veracrypt and made:
apt --fix-broken install:
Because some libraries are missing. Its only a suggestion possibly it has nothing to do with veracrypt.

I installed the system new because i had that mistake earlier but now i am at the same point like before.
My System ist:
Kernel: 6.2.0-37-generic x86_64 bits: 64 Desktop: KDE Plasma 5.27.9 Distro: KDE neon 22.04 5.27:

Here is some of the kodi_crashlog:

Is there somebody who can explain me the mistake or better solve it?

To receive meaningful assistance you will need to provide a full debug log.

The instructions are here... Debug Log

If you are using the Basic Method, then ensure the following is applied...
1.Enable debugging in Settings>System Settings>Logging,
2.Restart Kodi
3.Replicate the problem.
4.Upload the log to Kodi Paste Site manually or use the Kodi Logfile Uploader. (wiki) With either method post the link to the log back here.

If you are using the Advanced Method ensure you have correctly created and applied the advancedsettings.xml file (wiki)

In both instances, you should see the word DEBUG throughout the log.

Note: Full logs only. No partial or redacted logs
Do NOT post your logs directly into the forum. Use the Kodi Paste Site. Post the link to your pasted log in the forum

Also please use our paste site for logs, don't paste them directly into posts.

Copy/paste and save them there, and provide the URL you will be given instead as a link to what you've uploaded.

crash appears to originate with pvr.hts i would recommend removing it for testing and see if the behavior changes
it would also not be a bad idea to start with a clean slate by moving the kodi data folder in home, mv ~/.kodi ~/.kodi.old

thx a lot for the response!!!
I will try it, and give u and answer. In case of pvr makes the trouble i need it to connect kodi with the tvheadend backend. So maybe there is an alternative solution if pvr makes the trouble.

since you do need it, IF it is actually that addon to blame (i.e. it does not crash when removed) then you should follow up with an issue report on github or in the PVR section of the forum to further diagnose issues with that addon

dear izprtxqkft,

it was not the pvr-hts-addon! I started the computer again with deinstalled pvr-hts-addon (made before reboot sudo apt remove --purge  kodi-pvr-tvheadend-hts
). After restart and kodi in autostart, kodi crashes again.
I have an actual kodi_crashlog-20231206_190704.log. I pasted it to :
https://paste.kodi.tv/uxifuyawif.kodi

Maybe u can help me with another solution.
