IF you support the idea, could you please support an option for cross fading one image into the next image ascan be seen with screensaver.picture.slideshow? Implementing this will give a more smooth experience in the image transitions, which is already there in the smooth animation. Thanks

Hey folks

This screensaver's been running great for years on my setup, but it's just started failing to retrieve images and is spitting out the following error to my log:

error <general>: screensaver.google.earth-1.0.9-getURL, Failed! Expecting value: line 2 column 1 (char 1)

I'm running kodi 20.2 on the latest Coreelec OS, if that matters.

Any insights?

So if this add-on screensaver isn't working or always breaks then perhaps it is better to totally scrap this from the Kodi library. It is just a headache if this always has to break.
