Hi,
thanks for the workaround. With my Fire TV Stick i can't reach the above folder for copying settings.xml. Are there any solutions with kodi on a Fire TV Stick?

Thank-you to all who work on maintaining the Confluence skin. To me it is the goto skin die to it's great configurability. It is still valuable with or without favorites!

It doesn't work "Video calibration" on Xonfluence skin. They don't appear arrows to calibrate screen.

Absolute legend thanks for this. Like the other user I have used xonfluence for many years and like the simplicity that you can apply to the menus as only use kodi to access a San. Makes it easy for the family to use.

Thanks for the Xonfluence updates. The one I had was broken, of course.
Can anyone verify if .MKA files read OK in Omega? Mine are showing the last track first (but it doesn't work when clicked; the rest starting with 01 do). Now I wish I hadn't upgraded to Omega. Google Play upgrades on the Shield make it a PITA to NOT upgrade one particular app, though.

Maybe I didn’t explain my issue clearly. I’ve been using Xonfluence for many years, and I know that I either have to update the link in Kodi’s File Manager or download a zip file with every new letter Kodi release. Either way, it has been install from Zip not from Repo for several years.
Before I commented in June, I first tried changing the link in Kodi‘s file manager, but nothing was available when I went to install from zip file. Then I went to the GitHub link, and I clicked the green code button, and I downloaded the zip file to my device. I made sure that the zip file existed on my device, and then I went back to Kodi, back to Install from zip file, and there was still no zip file available in the downloader folder via External storage. So I posted asking for help, I got told to do exactly what I had done, at least that’s the way I interpreted…but if you meant something else than what I’ve described doing, I don’t know what you meant.
I’ve tried using confluence skin since then, but I really miss xonfluence, so I tried both methods again today. Like before, when I go to install from zip file, Kodi cannot find any zip files in the Downloader folder or in the Xon GitHub link folder.
*** Is there a setting that I have to update in Kodi itself, so that Kodi can see the zip files on my device or on GitHub itself?

Sounds like you have a folder problem or share problem with the folder (file set to not share for example) because it worked fine here.
I wish I could say the same for MKA playback (still no fix or even acknowledgement of the last track bug despite bringing it up three times in three different threads for 21.0).
Sadly, somehow automatic updates got enabled on my Shield despite having it off specifically for this very reason (no simple revert to previous version option either and rescraping sucks for custom labeling). There's still no ability to detect Atmos or DTS:X soundtracks in the database listing after 10 years (the very reason I need custom labeling of Atmos, DTS:X and Auro-3D titles in the first place).

So I’m an iOS person who has learned enough about Androids to use steaming boxes, but I’ve no idea how to check if a folder or file has been set to not share.
I can see the zip file in the Downloader folder when I use the Android app “Cx File Explorer.” I tried looking for anything that would indicate it needs a setting changed, but it says the zip file is not hidden, and there were no other settings I could change.
Is there a different Android file manager app I should use instead, which would show sharing permissions and allow me to change?
I’ve never had this issue when updating Xonfluence in the past. I was able to access the zip file either through Kodi File Manager address link during Helly years or by navigating to the Download (or Downloader) folder to use the install from zip function when Soriano took over.
I haven’t manually changed any Android system settings since the last Xonfluence update I did, but there was a system update that ONN pushed. No idea if that might have changed anything, as I kept a lean Kodi setup in this device.
