Hi! Don't have came here for a while so i may have failed to find the answers. I wanted to know if there's a way to mass rename tags in nfo like country name or genre name. When i scrap my movies, some data are in French (what i want), but genre and country are sometimes in english so i have like 200 movies to recheck...
i can see them with the filters but it's pretty long one by one.
Any other option?

Filter the list of movies to get the ones you want to rescrape.
Then select all the movies that your filtered list gave you, and run Batch rescrape Wizard.

The Wizard will only run over the selected movies

EDIT :

I have another problem with a movie with the last update. I want to scrap the movie with imdbid tt29005479 (file named 'La belle etincelle(2023).mkv' isn't found by automatic scrapping) but it keep on scrapping the movie with id tt0140812... Other movies seem to scrap normally...

Use the Change movie tab to search and select the correct movie from IMDb.

You'll have to accept Australia as that is the correct spelling for this country globally.

I'll try and check on that other movie this evening.

The problem with La belle etincelle (2023) is it isn't actually a movie, but a two part miniseries made for TV.
So it won't scrape as a movie

Just curious, is there a way to avoid having actor thumbs overwritten when they are stored it a common centralized folder?

They shouldn't be overwritten if you you have set in Preferences -> Common Settings Don't overwrite existing artwork.
Please check and let me know if Common folder for actors is not behaving with this setting selected.

Affirmative, don't overwrite is checked, but it seems to not respect it for centralized actors or tv episode thumbs. Those are two cases I've noticed but I haven't done a full test on all art types so there may be others as well.

It would be great to have an option to choose which language to use for genre and country (i have set french everywhere) or a mean to auto-rename like a conversion table when there isn't french data...

For what is already scrapped, I have found another way to rename all the old nfos. (there's a multi-file search and replace option in notepad+)

Another question, is there a filter to sort movies without plot or outline?

Affirmative, don't overwrite is checked, but it seems to not respect it for centralized actors or tv episode thumbs. Those are two cases I've noticed but I haven't done a full test on all art types so there may be others as well.

Unfortunately there is no language scrape option for return of Genre or Country, we get what the scraper returns. Not something I'd be looking into for a conversion table, sorry.

Found and fixed actor centralized. Will be in the next release.

But couldn't find an issue with episode thumbs. Can you advise how to reproduce please.

I\ll take another look at it when I get I chance. But I  think it was something like, if I scraped a show using IMDB and then later re-scraped using TVDB the episode thumbs got changed.

First, MC doesn't scrape TV from IMDb. And if doing a Rescrape, it is implied it will rescrape the episode complete, which removes existing data.
Better to use Batch rescrape Wizard.
