I am trying to get my local lyrics to display. I think the file name format for the search is too limiting.

My lyric files are saved the same as the song file.

Artist - Album - Track Number - song title

I don’t see a way to search for that or am I missing something? Thanks!

Here is the specific format I save in..

[%artist% - ][%album% - ][%track% - ][%title%]

Pretty sure they only work for the visualisation window.

Yes it is true, for visualisation window. But l wish to use text lyrics on my custom window or home window, something
like "label" text <label>$INFO[lyrics etc]</label>
of course if is possible.

apart from a a few broken scrapers, most are working fine.
i've submitted an updated version to the addon repo which will fix the broken ones.

Everything works correctly in English. But if, for example, Russian music is played on the English interface of version 21, then only the first letter will be displayed correctly, then the screenshot squares on the links below. I thought I could change the font in the settings, but I couldn’t find it. What information should I provide?

Can this addon go through all of the songs in your Kodi libary and download the lyric files ahead of you actually needing them.... i.e. scrape it's way through your library?
If not, is there a utility which can do that for the songs that have lyrics files already online?

Hello Everybody

I am French and I am 68 yo so my English is a little rusty

I am using this script on a Raspberry PI4 and it works very well with MP3 and FLAC files

But I have a Huge (4000) collection of originals Audio CD and I was wondering if there is a way to make this scrit work
with physical CD.

I have been delighted to see that my Samsung DVD usb player works fine with Kodi and that I can play audio CD with Kodi.
Now I would be more than happy if I had the lyrics for Yes or Genesis or Rush (yes I'm old...) songs

cu lrc lyrics needs the artistname and the songtitle of the currently playing track.

for audio cd's this info can be retrieved using a CDDB lookup.

BUT: i've tested it and it does not work. looks like there is a bug in Kodi which prevent CDDB lookups to work.
