If i am playing a Movie or TV Show via Kodi on my Steam Deck and put it into sleep mode, upon waking it up Kodi will completely freeze, No matter if the running Video is Paused or Unpaused and the only way out is by exiting with the Steam Overlay. I much prefer to use Kodi because i was yearning for a All-In-One Multimedia app for my Steam Deck to use it on both its Handheld Screen and dock it up to my Non-Smart TV.

This might seem simple, but is so complex that I'm sure everyone involved would be hairless. The scenario is in the operating system itself and how sleep mode is handled, basically on sleep all the active code is shuffled off to a special area of protected memory that is kept alive by a trickle source, on wake that code is shuffled back to active memory; in an order that the CPU might not be synced with Kodi and it's heavy reliance on the gfx engine and gfx memory. I've seen this question many times from other programs failing Re-Animation, the code belongs to Dr. Frankenstein and his team.
