Hello,
I was wondering if it would be possible to add a feature that allows users to tag a picture or comic .cbz file. This tag would include a number that can be edited, or ideally, it could display the last slide index before closing. Currently, there isn't a way to resume a comic from where you left off or to identify which chapter you're reading. I believe this tagging feature could effectively address both issues. I really enjoy loading my comic book library into Kodi, and I think this addition would be perfect.
Thank you for considering this feature.
Best regards.

You come to that conclusion and ask for the thread to be deleted after 5 hours?
This is a community forum and Kodi is an open source volunteer project, both of which mean people aren't just sitting waiting for requests and reports to come in...

😬 I'm really sorry.. I thought the thread would be deleted, just tossed in a joke before it got nuked, I didn't mean to sound problematic... The feature I requested is a niche one, so I just kind of assumed no one would bother with it

Comic book files used to be a common thing with earlier versions of Kodi, not so much anymore with the advent of "Marvel' movies and the like. Your request has been read by close to 100 in less than an hour, and considering that millions use Kodi, and some might offer informative information when they get around to login. Developers are not waiting with baited breath for your direction. Should your request attract interest with the majority and spare coding time becomes available to satisfy the need, some effort might be of consideration.
Suggest that instantaneous gratification is not in this bag of feature requests. Your original request is not out of bounds and this thread will be retained.

Why would be nuke it? It's a valid request and a valid use of Kodi (not all media is videos).
As noted above, others may want to pick it up and run with it, but it's entirely up to our volunteer developer team (in-team and community) as to what they want to play with and what peaks their interest.
But if a developer happens also to be a comic fan, who knows...
