A pull request for v1.0.6 has been submitted to address the invalid 24 hour value from the CBC Sports website. You should see the update show up in the next week in the Kodi repository.

Can someone please check the CBC Sports addon (1.0.6 from the Kodi Repo)

I've had to start from scratch and rebuild my setup and now find the Highlight and Most Recent categories returning the Check the Log error, they were working previously.

The Archive category hasn't been working for a long time and still gives the Check the Log error

The Live Schedule category is bringing up events, none have the Publish check (as of now) so I don't know if they will work or not. I will check and get back later.

When working this is a really good addon, would be great to get it back to where it was.

I'll try to look at it in the next couple of days. I suspect the issues might be Kodi 21 related. I am behind updating this addon.. i presume you were previously using an earlier version of Kodi ?

I don't want to swear on it, because it wasn't something that I was looking for or paying attention to, but I'm pretty sure (except for the Archive section), it was working ok on Kodi 21

I'm just wondering if it is CBC making changes

It looks like your hunch may be right. I am seeing 400 errors from the on demand video server stating that the session key is invalid. It looks like they may have disabled the key which was being used by the addon. I don't know where it came from originally. There is a live event in just over 6 hours. It will be interesting to see if it plays.

I'm going to try and remember to play the next Live Event. As of now, none of them have the Publish check (which is turned on)

I am seeing the Published now on many of my live events. I checked the noon event and it is unavailable to me. Maybe because I am not in Canada.

Damnit, I may have just missed it.

They are all showing Published for me as well now and I just remembered to look at the 59 minute mark (after the start) and got the Content not Available error.

So, I don't know if I missed it or it doesn't work

I'll keep you up to date when I can get some results from trying again

I missed the noon event but based upon what I am seeing in the logs, the website changed the mediId position somewhat and I may need to adjust the parsing to handle it better. I'll try to catch an upcoming event.

I may have found the issue with Live Events not playing. Please try version 1.0.6a when the next live event comes on and let me know if this fixes it.

Hi Jeff, there's non-stop live events now for the olympics. I gave 1.06a a try but it just plays a little video saying "Content is currently unavailable" for every stream.

Thanks. I am aware and have been trying to find a fix but no luck so far. A change was made on the CBC Sports website which has broken playback. I was hoping to have a new test release out yesterday but so far I've been unable to reverse engineer the change they made. It looks like they may have moved the streaming point to a CDN provider for the live streams.

None of the CBC Sports addon menus (now including Live Schedule) are giving results (Check the Log error).

But there is a sports event appearing in the CBC addon under Live channels. Would it help to know where this is coming from and if this can help what is going on with the CBC Sports addon not being able to access events. Are the addons scraping differently API and website (I have no clue about how that works)

I am getting 400 errors from the CBC Sports website. it looks like they have modified the API feed that it uses and I can't find wehre it is published..
