Now that's something i hadn't considered. I don't see a place to add IMDB or TMDB ID. I'll try manually adding see if i can get it to work. Thanks for the tip!!!

Since there has been a bunch of back and forth on infinite loop updating. I thought i would chime in and report that i came from v1.7.5 to v1.7.7. During the update process i experienced a black screen for approx 1.5 min and then returned to the previous screen as normal. The update seemed to have gone fine.

Good morning everyone. Newbie here. Usually lurk but I need some assistance hoping someone can help.
I'm running 20.2 AeonMQ9. I have an SSD connected to my Sony which I watch my movies on. Under movies, I go to files and select my SSD and to watch those.
The questions I have is how do I get the movies to display up as a grid of icons instead of a list?
Also, instead of clicking movies, than clicking on the folder icon and than getting my ssd to show up. Is there an easier way to access my movies without all those steps? Thanks in advance. Hoping I can just click movies and all the movies pop up in icons. That's my goal.

Sorry...I'm just now seeing your post. To change your movie list, select up to access the top menu. Under "VIEW TYPE" select "VIEW TYPE SELECTOR" and you will see a list of all the views.
It sounds like you've added your Movie drive into "Files" but you didn't complete the scan process to add them to your library.

UPDATE #38 - This will update the skin to v1.7.8
Bug fix- I added Embuary Helper as a required add-on to try and fix the endless loop that some are experiencing on skin initialization.
Maintenance- I overhauled all the code for KodiFlix...adjusted image positions, adjusted position and size of plot textboxes, removed irrelevant code, etc.

@latts9923 - Looks like there is some weirdness going on with ratings on view Type 17...

However, It looks like when no rating is present, that the rating bar is shifted to the right

UPDATE #39 - This will update the skin to v1.7.9
Additions- I added code to some of the view types to display the case/poster and discart when using Embuary Helper.
- I added a "GO TO PLAYLIST" button in the Top Menu under "COLLECTION/CHANGE VIEW". This button is available in the default Estuary skin when you queue a video, but was never included with MQ 7.
- I added fanart code to the playlist screen. It will now display fanart based on your "ART" settings in the Top Menu.
Bug fixes- I fixed a problem with the media flags for most views displaying the French MPAA flag instead of the German flag when Rated 12, 16, or 18 was entered. I also added a "deu" flag to the language flags. Thanks to KenTucky for reporting the bug!
- I fixed a problem with the rating stars in View Type-17 not displaying in the correct position when the rating info was missing. Thanks to Shredder_guitar for reporting the bug!

I'm a bug fan of Aeon MQ9 mod, about 1 week ago there was an update on Kodi (v21), and since that update I cannot use my favorite skin.
It could not load the skin.
So I came up to the forum downloaded latest (skin.aeonmq9.mod-1.3.2.zip), tried to install, but install failed with canot find (various) dependencies.
I choosed to install dependencies manually, after that install was a success. Switched to the skin, but still cannot activate it. ű
It hangs on init screen ("Do not press any key, wait for the process to finish").

I tried waiting for 1 hour, but nothing happens.
Can you please help me?

UPDATE #41 - This will update the skin to v1.8.1
Additions- I added a "RANDOM" option to the themes. When enabled, a different theme (minus the holidays) will be displayed. I used a random number generator to decide the next theme instead of just moving down the list in order like MQ 8. Thanks to hna71 for the request!
- I added two new buttons to the top menu..."SHOW CHARACTERART IF MISSING" and "SHOW ACTRESS ART IF MISSING". If "EXTRA ART" is set to "CHARACTERART" and the video is missing characterart, you can display actress art by enabling "SHOW ACTRESS ART IF MISSING". Same thing for missing actress art by enabling "SHOW CHARACTERART IF MISSING". These two buttons are disabled by default. Thanks to martinsvision for the request!
- I added KHZ, Kbps and BPM info to the media flags for songs in all views except View Type-01 and 18.
- I added a "PLAY ALBUM" button to the music info screen for Albums.
- I added the "SHOW DIFFUSE" setting in Litebox Settings to the default music fanart and the music info screen.
Bug fixes- The diffuse settings for Litebox were not working in the two Video Info screens.
- The discart for layout 3D in music viz was positioned too low.
Maintenance- The back of the jewel box will no longer display for Songs in List 3D and List 3D v2 unless the back image is present.
- I made some tweaks to the code for List 3D and List 3D v2 for music...adjusting the position of images, removing extraneous code, etc.
I asked @henryjfry to add limit settings to clearart and clearlogo in the Artwork Beef add-on. You can download the new version (v0.28.8) by installing the henryjfry repo. Thanks to @henryjfry for the update!
