Well, you don't know if you have done the regular scraping. Kodi looks for nfo files, if it does not find the
then it calls the scraper.
So if all went well, the Update Library read the nfo files. You will be able to figure that out by the speed. If it went lightning fast, then it was nfo files. If it was slow, and you could see it running movie by movie, it is scraping.

Do you know which? Find one that you know is missing and check if there is a nfo file in the folder. If not, then the scraper should of run, and if the scraper could not find it, then it is a problem with the naming of your file/folder.

If you were using v18.1, that means a lot of your library was scraped 5+ years ago. Is that somewhat accurate? Maybe the set information is missing when you scraped that long ago?
