Hello,
I have one problem with the Android TV skin, it occurs in the latest version 1.0.21 and in the previous version, i.e. 1.0.20 of the AZ2:R skin.
For now, I returned to Android TV to version 1.0.19 of the AZ2:R skin. The reason is that the transparency function does not work in the "i" information. The latest version of AZ2:R 1.0.21 and the previous version 1.0.20 do not play the video with transparency enabled. There is no video playback, only a freeze frame and sound.
I turned off the automatic update of the AZ2:R skin and installed version 1.0.19 (direct installation overlay from the version 1.0.21 pendrive to version 1.0.19):
https://github.com/DenDyGH/skin.arctic.z...ag/v1.0.19
For those interested, here are the settings so that the function works in version 1.0.19, in the trial version given below in the post and version 1.0.22, including the next higher versions.
Skin Settings > Background > Background Images > View Current Playing Video in Background >
OFF
Settings > Video/Music > OSD VIDEO > Stop when dialog opens > OFF Settings > Skin Settings > Video/Music > VIDEO OSD > Hide background in extended info window >
ENABLED
We set the transparency level by changing the "alpha" value in: Settings > Skin settings > Various > OTHER > Alpha value for some dialogues > Value 0 is the default and value 100 is total transparency (scale every 5%) > select e.g.
100% > OK
have already notified skin maintainer @
TurDo about this issue on Android TV (this issue does not occur on Windows or Xbox). I really like and want this feature in the AZ2:R skin, and I'm sure that many AZ2:R skin users want this feature to work on Android TV. After all, a huge number of users use this operating system with Kodi installed. I asked @
TurDo to fix the feature or, better yet, introduce a feature to AZ2:R similar to the one in Arctic Fuse.
Now is the holiday and vacation season, maybe @
TurDo doesn't have time, but when he finds the time, please make sure the feature works in the latest versions of the AZ2:R skin on Android TV.
I know it takes work and a really big thank you to @
TurDo and everyone helping him for supporting this great skin.
Edit. In practical use, the function in AZ2:R version 1.0.19 on Android TV is very similar to that in the Titan Vanilla skin, except that AZ2:R uses the information from the TMDB Helper add-on when pressing the "i" information. Whereas Titan Vanilla provides information from the ExtendedInfo Script add-in.
