We have implemented 3D FSBS now and I can send a test build your way for Vero 4K / 4K + or V if you would like to try it as we haven't had a lot of feedback yet. This is proper Full SBS output rather than the 'trick' to adjust the pixel ratio (which really results in half resolution output).

Is this 3D FSBS files output as full-resolution frame-packed 3D over HDMI? (i.e. using the same output mode as decoded Full HD MVC would be output as usually)

Yes. Our implementation will convert from FSBS to Frame Packed (where the TV supports it). This allows FSBS to be displayed at full resolution on 1080p displays and not just 4K displays that support 3D (which are less common).

Hi,

I finally received my Ugoos AM6B+ and installed the latest nightly of Coreelec to the emmc.
I even get my Shield 2019 Pro remote to work with the Ugoos.

I still have a few question:

How do you put the  Ugoos AM6B+ to sleep?
At Power Options I only the the choice of: 

Power Off System
Custom Shutdown Timer
Suspend 
Reboot
Reboot from eMMc/NAND
Restart Kodi

When I put the Ugoos to Power Off or Suspend I need the Ugoos rermote to start the box again. 
I won't start with the shield remote.

So how can you put the box to sleep and wake it then (preferably using the Shield remote)?

@coreelec, can't thank you guys enough, especially @Portisch on the 3D work 🙏🙌! I have a Dune HD, and had a Zidoo previously, but the convenience of having full 3D + TV-led DL DV + HD audio all in the same player is the holy grail.

@faust1103, with my 2x Ugoos units w/CE, I leave them on all the time. Screen dims, which I assume is sleep or hibernation, and pressing any button on my paired Fire TV Bluetooth remotes wake them up. If there's a more elegant solution, I'd love to know .

There is no sleep in CE. You can only put display to sleep: Settings/System/Power saving -> Put display to sleep when idle (5 min steps)

Just for my curiosity, what does the Ugoos AM6B+ better than the Vero V?

1) Support for Dolby Vision Profile 7 FEL and Profile 4. Also supports Profile 5 and 8.

2) Upcoming support for the VS10 engine.

3) Upcoming support for converting Dolby Vision to HDR on TVs that do not support Dolby Vision.

Is there any way to have the library being automatically scanned for new videos in regular intervals on CoreElec (dual boot on Ugoos AM6B+)?
The way it is now I have to either restart Kodi or trigger the re-scan of the library manually.

I came across the library watchdog add-on but I heard that it is not working properly.

Not replacing, but removing from my family room setup. I have another in my dedicated home theater, where I use it almost exclusively. My family mostly just watches OTA TV or uses Fire Cube 3 in my family room setup.

Cube 3 is good option if you want decent Kodi performance with MEL Dolby Vision + HD audio + premium apps. I like it better than Shield TV.
