Installed Kodi 21.1 on my laptop.
Added Kodi to the task bar.
Kodi icon displays correctly when selecting the windows icon bottom left of task bar, but shows as a blank icon after adding Kodi to the task bar, see screenshot.
Any ideas how to fix?
Kodi 21.0 icon on the task bar was okay.

Look in %appdata%\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Quick Launch\User Pinned\TaskBar .

That's the folder where the shortcuts for the task bar are stored, so you can open the properties of the Kodi shortcut there (via the right-click menu or alt+enter) and use the change icon button.

Thanks, that did the trick, I'm still a little puzzled why only the Kodi 21.1 version didn't have the correct icon.

I installed the update without creating a 'new' short-cut which should incorporate graphics . The old portable installation icon in the toolbar seems to still path properly.
