Hi Alain,

I'm not that old yet (6 years younger as you and I'm listening to similar music as you...hehe) I have a huge CD collection too. After many years living DownUnder and then moving to Brazil, a lot of CDs lost their silver layer and the Cds went useless. So I digitalized all remaining CDs into Flac format (lossless) and have the CDs in boxes now. I might put them back into racks when the kids are a bit older, but for now they loved pulling them out of the racks and covers, so I'll keep them boxed.
When you digitalize them, the audio info will be written within the flac files and Artist Slideshow and the Lyrics add-on will work fine.
I'm using dBpoweramp in conjunction with Mp3tag. It will take you a while but it was fun to see and listen to things, I haven't pulled out for a while.
These days I only buy high-res music (and the artists are getting their loyalties twice from me which sucks since I paid them for the same content already).

I've submitted a fix for Kodi: https://github.com/xbmc/xbmc/pull/25700
So hopefully things will work correctly in the next Kodi release.

Okay , thank you for the quick answer

For me the CDDB request is working and gives the name of the artist and the name of the album , but then all i can do is click cancel

And i can play the CD or Eject or Rip , but the names of the track are only track1 , track 2 ....

So it's understandable that CU RC Lyrics is not able to work with poor info like that

I do not know where to find the logs for this operation but if someone tells me i would be more than happy to post them

Hello Everybody

I also noticed something which may be a "bug"

When there are no synchronized lyrics available for a song , you get static lyrics 
I guess that the down arrow is supposed to make manual scrolling but it does not work

I have also installed Kodi 21.1 Omega and CU LRC Lyrics on my Windows10 PC and the 2 "bugs" are also there

1) CU LRC Lyrics not working with physical Audio CD
2) CU LRC Lyrics no manuel scroll for non synchronized lyrics

Hi!

just started to use this addon, is there any explanation for the settings?
Mostly which scraper should I use (what can I disable). I try to lower the addon't resource usage, it makes the full Kodi laggy, even in the main GUI (not just during playback).
I admit my kodi pc is not the strongest but should be enough. (intel J3455)
