Android Kodi 21.0 Omega keeps crashing in NVidia Shield 2019
#1
Hi,

Kodi keeps crashing in my NVidia Shield TV Pro 2019. I open it and just leave it open and after some seconds it crashes and closes. I have already reinstalled it.

Here is the link to the debug file -> https://paste.kodi.tv/eludugowad.kodi

  What should I try next?

Thanks
Gilson

I've installed the Kodi version 22.0 (21.90.700) and that problem does not happen there. It stays opened, I can play movies and it does nto crash. However there is another problem with that version I documented in the thread https://forum.kodi.tv/showthread.php?tid=378499

I have the Shield Pro 2019. I do not have this problem. Have you tried resetting your Shield? That's all I can think of.

I have uninstalled Kodi and then installed Kodi again.  Now I have Kodi 21.1, I installed the Doomzday Build with the AI Skin and now it's stuck on loading the addons.  If I click on Movies the list never shows it could be loading for 30 minutes +, nothing gets loaded.  Sorry for the delay in replying to you I wanted to try things before replying.

We don't support banned addons or builds.

And they're probably the cause of your problems.

Sounds like your issue is with the Doomzday Build with the AI Skin (which looks to be a banned addon anyway) rather than Kodi itself. You will need to contact whoever is responsible for the Doomzday Build with the AI Skin for help.

@OffalyPops - why not actually go and read the forum rules (wiki) that you accepted and agreed to abide by when you joined here?

But long story short, we do not condone piracy here so stop asking about it and addons that steal their content that way or your time here may be curtailed.

I reed the rules, there seems to be every addon on the banned list so how do all use kodi?
So the best solution for me is I should build my own build?

You should stop using pirate addons/builds.

Kodi is a media player centre, designed to play legally owned and supplied media.

If you're playing non-public domain media for free that you should be paying for, or that should only be available in theatres, then we don't want to know here.
For such things, go elsewhere. Oh and any such usage is at your own risk from any issues with the copyright holders, or for any nasty malware etc that you may expose your device and your network to in the process.

Should you persist in seeking support here, then your part of this thread will be removed and binned.
Final warning.
