Cleanup removes available movies/series from DB
#1
Hardware:
Ugoos AM6+
CoreELEC 21.1.1 stable/nightly
Movies/Series are on a SMB share

Problem:
A cleanup of the library also removes movies and series from sources that are available.
If a scan for new movies and series is made directly after the cleanup, the files and series that were previously deleted will be found again.

Previously I had used an RPI4 with LibreELEC and this had the same problem after a while. I then completely reinstalled the system and it worked fine for a while.
Same now on the Ugoos, as well.

Steps to reproduce:
Cleanup DB
Scan for new Content

My first guess (as it seems to be OS unrelated) would be, that your network share is not as stable as you might think (probably). I´m using network shares since ever (SMB and NFS) and I´ve never seen such an issue. No matter which OS I´m using (Windows, Linux, Mac).

If it´s easy to reproduce, please provide a logfile which shows the cleanup and the scan without a reboot in between.

Thx for a first impression. The SMB share should not be the problem. Since on other linux or win devices at home there are no issues.

Log should be here:
