TV Rename Multiple Episodes Recorded in one File - TV Rename only sees one.
#1
For my grandchildren, I recorded Underdog on OTA with my HDHomerun.

Most episodes include two parts.

Season 1 for example has Go Snow (1) and Go Snow (2) in one file, but are actually episodes #5, and #6.

I named the files in such a manner Kodi sees them as not missing as well as Media Companion.

IE. Underdog - S01E05-E06 - Go Snow Part 1 + Go Snow Part 2 (I tried several other syntax as per the Kodi Wiki).

TV Rename sees Episode 5 Status as "On Disk," but Episode 6 Status is "Missing."

I tried the merge files, but that just eliminated Episode 6 from the list.

Is there a way to tell TV Rename Episode 6 is not missing from the view Summary page?

If you've named them correctly for Kodi why are you then trying to use TV Rename?

I use TV Rename for other additional features. It provides a nice interface to know which episodes I am missing. It has reports that can be exported, as well a presentation format where I can see a vertical listing of all my shows (like explorer). Basically another tool in my media toolbox.

Quote:F – (optional) If specified and if it matches then this is the max episode number that the file matches. It is used for instances when a file matches multiple episodes.

For Example: ‘S01E01-03’ would indicate that the file represents Series 1 and is episodes 1-3. In this case S=1, E=1 and F=3.
