Here is a weird one, Kodi installed on iPad, Apple TV and XBOX One, the oficial app remote for kodi connects to Apple TV, iPad, but NOT to Xbox, I have changed ports, user, psw, reset network, connected the xbox to cable, 2.4 wifi, 5 wifi, reset xbox and there is no way to connect it always times out

Yeap I have tried a bit of everything and again trying to reach other Kodi instals over web browser works but not with xbox, I have to add that it used to work until I reset my xbox for a brand new install and downloaded Kodi again
We know that its not my network 'cause it works with other instals (iPad, AppleTV)
*The new install took me 3 days 'cause it was saying that there was not "enough space" all do I was using only 24% of my storage, then one day I just hit "cancel" on the free up space window and it started downloading

If you cannot reach the Xbox-Kodi via browser, the app will also not be able to connect. Really go through the post I shared and check, if e.g. the IP address of your Xbox is correct. It might have changed. Also double check the Kodi settings, and try „Find Kodi“ in the Remote App.

I have gone true the post, Local IP for Xbox is fixed on both WiFi and Wire (Set on console and ONT), Discover Kodi has never work on iOS since zeroconf protocol changed on apple devices, I even enter MAC address + IP for the xbox (both wifi and wired) and nothing, oddly enough several things are "missing" on Kodi such as the ability to "navigate" to local parts of the install such as folders on skins, I used to be abbe to write my own colors xml file and copy and replace on Kodi and tose folders are not showing up on Kodi xbox sounds like a "security" or firewall on Kodi exclusive for xbox
