Mod Aeon MQ 9 Mod for Kodi 21 (Omega)
@ZsocaM5
Man...I forgot the new font files as well. I just uploaded a new zip file to the repo with the new font files included. You can also download them here.

@Veritas82
I don't see the Genre colors with MQ 8 either...gotta be something set wrong on my end. How are you enabling your genre colors?

Haha...it does get a little hairy when I update all 12 skins in one day. I think I'm going to drop support for Krypton and Leia when I release the Piers versions of MQ 7, 8 and 9.

I am just curious....why still have MQ7 and 8 for latest Kodi builds....are the designs so different that people still want them?

Hi @latts9923,

After the last update I did a test with just movies with Dolby Atmos.
All three movies have the exact same audio:
Audio 1 - Dolby Atmos 7.1
Audio 2 - Dolby Digital 5.1

I named the movies as follows as per your instructions:
Puss.in.Boots.The.Last.Wish.2022.4k.10bit.DV.ATMOS1.7.1.mkv
Prince.of.Darkness.1987.4k.10bit.DV.ATMOS1.7.1.mkv
Soul.2020.4k.10bit.DV.ATMOS1.7.1.mkv

This is the result on the movie main window:

As you can see, Puss in Boots displays both audio flags perfectly, the movie to it's left & right is missing the 2nd audio flag.
Why would this be the case?

FYI - The movie info screen displays all audio flags perfectly Rofl

Please let me know if I'm doing something wrong.

All three skins have a lot of similar mods, but each one has its own unique features (menu bars, graphics, etc.). Really it's just personal preference and what you're comfortable using.

@JanM201
FYI...the "DV" and "7.1" in your filenames are not required as they do not relate to any flags. What codec name are you using for the two Movies that are not displaying the second codec flag? It's odd that all three display the second codec only in the Video Info screen.

As I stated before, I use a Media Manager to scrape my movies (Metadata, Artwork etc.)
This is the Metadata from my Media Manager for the first 2 movies:

This is the 2 nfo files for the same 2 movies after the scrape:

As you can see, the 1st and 2nd audio channels are exactly the same for both movies.
Hope that helps. Maybe you can spot something here.

Here is confirmation of the video info screen displaying the flags perfectly:

Now if only it can do the same on the main video screen.

Hmm...I will do some testing, but the video view screen and the video info screen use the same code to display the flags. I'm not sure why one would show and the other doesn't.

Yes, that really is a peculiar situation Huh

In your above post when you refer to "Media Manager" what program is that exactly?

Thanks

Hi @melons2

It's called Ember Media Manager.

I took a look at your skin code and you are using the wrong infolabel to display the 2 audio code labels.

You are using (SkinHelper.ListItem.0.AudioCodec) and (SkinHelper.ListItem.1.AudioCode).
The correct infolabels are (SkinHelper.ListItem.AudioStreams.0.AudioCodec) and (SkinHelper.ListItem.AudioStreams.1.AudioCodec).

I'm using SkinHelper.ListItem.X.AudioCodec to display the audiocodec flag for up to 8 Movies in the Sets flags code. I just tried using SkinHelper.ListItem.AudioStreams.0.AudioCodec in place of SkinHelper.ListItem.0.AudioCodec for the first Movie in the Set and the audiocodec flag no longer displays.

Is there or could there be an option for reducing the poster size of widgets? Let's say I'm in the Home Screen "Movies" and have widgets for "Movies in Progress" turned on, could there be an option to reduce their size to half or a size that would work? It would keep from obscuring so much screen space and allow for more widgets. Is this possible?

Thanks and Happy Holidays!

Hi,

Do we really need the flags for the sets? I normally turn them off in the top menu.

In the horizontal menu you can change the number of widget items to either 8 or 12...switching to 12 will reduce the size of the posters. I could look at adding an option to reduce the size to 75% or 50% of the original size, but I don't think you can apply multiple widgets to a menu item.

Happy Holidays to you as well!

@JanM201
I like the Sets flags very much. I spent a lot of time on that code and I'm kinda proud of it. Haha.
