Hello everyone i'm new on kodi, i need help to directly stream on kodi though link. I tried all thing but didn’t work for me or i'm doing wrong then please correct me. I made e txt file then rename it sample.strm then i open that file on text editor and put the streaming link and save it. Tried to open on kodi but it doesn’t show the file & i not able to stream. Please anyone know what problem is then please share me...

there's not much to know

1. create text file
2. put url in text file
3. rename text file to .strm
4. play .strm file in kodi

I'm superr noob, after reading wiki i still can't figure how to add strm file. For me any tutorial video will be good. Or if you can please shortly make e video and send the link...

To receive meaningful assistance you will need to provide a full debug log.

If you are using the Basic Method, then ensure the following is applied...
1.Enable debugging in Settings>System Settings>Logging,
2.Restart Kodi
3.Replicate the problem.
4.Upload the log to Kodi Paste Site manually or use the Kodi Logfile Uploader. (wiki) With either method post the link to the log back here.

If you are using the Advanced Method ensure you have correctly created and applied the advancedsettings.xml file (wiki)

In both instances, you should see the word DEBUG throughout the log.

Note: Full logs only. No partial or redacted logs
Do NOT post your logs directly into the forum. Use the Kodi Paste Site. Post the link to your pasted log in the forum

Hey i'm finally able to use strm files but currently i'm facing a issue with kodi on my tv. I have some movie and series on STRM files. All STRM file work on kodi in my phone but when i'm try to on tv it doesn’t work (not showing files but on phone showing) what is the issue.?

One works/One doesn't; Likely pathing on the phone vs. pathing on the TV are different.

Check the log, confirm the pathing issue and correct in the STRM file.
