Hello,

I am using Kodi v21.1 on a TCL TV running the latest FireOS. Kodi will play for a few minutes then crash every single time.
All the logs ends with this type of error
error <general>: DecodeFrame: Could not allocate temp buffer of size 26296320 bytes

I monitored the free memory usage of the FireTV and it had more than 200MB of free memory when Kodi crashed.

does it only crash when playing from Plex or is local playback OK?

Your device is running out of memory. Check with adb and top who is causing that.

Disable all add-ons and Plex and play the file from somewhere else.
