Mod Aeon MQ 9 Mod for Kodi 21 (Omega)
(2024-12-10, 13:18)latts9923 Wrote: You're welcome! I fixed the Movie years problem for Sets in View Type-01. It will be included in the next update.

To adjust the sets discart size, search View01-50.xml for "media_info_discart". You will find two includes with that name. Under that is a grouplist for the Sets discart. You'll need to adjust the top and height value as well as the "size" value for each "discart_items" include.

Hi Latts,
It's good news you fixed the Movie years problem for Sets view Type-01, but also found the same issue in Type-18. Could you also fix it?

I insatalled MQ9 mod on my Nvidia sheild (running on Android), in order to get the cronxbmc setting applied to my theme, where do I paste the folder in 'cronxbmc-nexus' in my android directory? the youtube video is for windows and highlights favorite.xml which I dont see in my kodi folder directory

I am unable to reproduce the problem with View Type-18. Actually, I used code from that view to fix View Type-01. I'm about to post an update...see if it fixes the problem.

@vineet381
Hmm...I thought I had fixed that problem. Try hitting back (you'll end up doing this multiple times) until it finally proceeds and finishes initialization.

UPDATE #44 - This will update the skin to v1.4.5

Image Additions
  • I added a color preview box to all the settings in SETTINGS ► SKIN SETTINGS ► COLOURS.
  • I added a new setting to the Weather Widget options named "DISPLAY ONLY DAYTIME FOR NOAA WEATHER". If you are using the 7 day weather widget, this will display only high temperatures for the days while using the NOAA weather add-on. If you are using the 10 day weather widget, you will still only see a 7 day forecast. If you switch to a different weather add-on, you will need to disable the "DISPLAY ONLY DAYTIME FOR NOAA WEATHER" setting to restore the default 7 or 10 day forecast. Thanks to @Shredder_guitar for the request!
  • The "DISPLAY ONLY DAYTIME FOR NOAA WEATHER" setting also controls the 5 day mini weather when using the MQ 8 menu bar. Thanks to @Shredder_guitar for the request!
  • The "DISPLAY ONLY DAYTIME FOR NOAA WEATHER" setting also controls the TODAY and DAY BY DAY views in the Weather view. Since the Precipitation data cannot be shown via the NOAA add-on, I changed that box to display the forecast.

Image Bug fixes
  • I fixed a problem with the clearart and clearlogo both displaying at the same time for View-Type17 (KodiFlix TV).
  • I included "web-dl" as another option in your video filename to display the Web-DL case. Thanks to @Shredder_guitar for reporting the problem!
  • The list of Movie Years for Sets in View Type-01 was not changing when selecting a new set. Thanks to @BradTang for reporting the bug!
  • There was partial code in the original skin to display weather fanart, but it was not fully implemented. I added a button named "WEATHER - BACKGROUND MODE" to SETTINGS ► SKIN SETTINGS ► ICONS AND IMAGES. There are two mode options...SEASONAL and CONDITIONAL. In SEASONAL mode, the "WEATHER - BACKGROUND IMAGES" button is disabled and you will see the default seasonal fanart based on the theme you selected. In CONDITIONAL mode, the "WEATHER - BACKGROUND IMAGES" button is enabled and the Weather fanart will display based on your background image selection.

ImageMaintenance
  • I updated the logo code for all the layouts in music viz. The layouts are now all using the same code to display either clearart or clearlogo based on your "ART - MUSIC" setting in SETTINGS ► SKIN SETTINGS ► CONTEXTUAL ART. Thanks to @jasn for the request!

NOTICE
  • After installing this update, if you have the vertical menu selected you will need to copy the contents of MainMenu.xml.vertical to MainMenu.xml to restore the vertical menu.

I use Multi Weather not NOAA which does NOT have any weather station listed in North Carolina, so NOAA is useless for me at this point. In Multi Weather there is NO temperature shown at all. How to fix it or how to revert "Weather" back to what it was?.

BTW, even when I select "SEASONAL" in "WEATHER-BACKGROUND MODE" I get some weird changing background on the bottom of the screen. Why would I need this and can this be removed without uninstalling Kodi (I had to uninstall/install Kodi) ?

Sorry for the bad news but I believe MOD v. 1.4.5 has broken the "Weather" homepage display. The last two days on the right no longer display. It also has the days order wrong, it was Saturday December 14th, 2024, 2am when I took the screen shot, the days are wrong.
I uninstalled and reinstalled the mod, I checked all of my settings, I tried everything I could think of yet it is still broken. SEE BELOW.

Version 1.4.5 above
Version 1.4.4 below

This is correct display from v. 1.4.4

I had exactly same issue with 1.4.5. The way to revert back, as I find out, is to uninstall Kodi and reinstall it. After that restore v1.4.4 from your backup.

Doh! Yep, I just switched to Multi-Weather and reproduced your problem. I fixed it...it's a quick fix if you want to try it on your end. Open Widgets.xml and find "widgets_weather_7day". At the bottom of that include you'll see "HighTemperature" and "LowTemperature". Remove the visible lines from both of those and open Kodi. Here's mine after the fix...

I've tried to reproduce your problem using Seasonal for Weather fanart, but so far I am unable to reproduce your problem.

@melons2
Try the weather fix on your end as well if you would.

Hi Latts,

It didn't fix the Movie year problem in movie set after AeonMQ9 Mod auto update to v1.4.5 - 12/13/2024.
Here is my trail result in view type-18. and the same issue in view type-01.
Do I miss any dependencies update in AeonMQ9?

So what I did is I extracted Weather.xml frm v1.4.5 and copied it to "xml" directory of v1.4.4 (after renaming org. Weather.xml to something different), then I commented out <visible> (line #304 and #316). That did the trick. Weather display work just fine.
I do not know why I did see some strange background images below "bottom bar" in Weather menu after installation of the 1.4.5. Might be some kind of corruption on my end. I downloaded v1.4.5 zip file and modified "Weather.xml" there. I will reinstall v1.4.5 using "INSTALL FROM ZIP FILE" method and post results.

UPDATE:
Installed v1.4.5 from zip file (Weather.xml" adjusted inside zip) and it looks like all is working fine.
Thanks for this update and quick reply with solution.

Hmm...the years are changing for me when I select a new Set using View Type-01 & 18. Can anyone else reproduce this problem?

@andrzejls
Good deal...and you're welcome! Thanks for testing the fix. I will get another update out ASAP.

Do you have the "DISPLAY ONLY DAYTIME FOR NOAA WEATHER" button enabled in the Weather Widgets settings? If so, disable that setting and you should see a 7 day forecast.
