Hi, wondering if you can assist me.
When setup IPTV on a spare tv and create a profile pointing to the central shared folder created from my pseudoTV server, M3U/guide.xml/genres files, they all show up in my channel list but when i click on the channels none of them play.
Do you know why?
They only play if i install the pseudotv addon on all kodi instances.
Reason i want to do this is because every time i load kodi on a client that is running pseudotv addon, a progress dialog opens up and it's PseudoTV generating Genre/library info and then it pops up and shows this message, and i have to always select "Multi-room"
and then the dialog disappears. But when i quit kodi and re-open it, the same dialog pops up. i don't understand why it beaves this way, if i have pseudotv addon installed on kodi and i've already selected to use multi-room, and then selected my channel list as my servers instance. Why does PseudoTV try to build all the genre and library lists and look for local channels every single time the app loads, and then prompt me that no channels are found and to keep selecting multi-room?
**EDIT**
so behaves properly if i point the "centralized file location" to my shared folder. but, shouldn't this all be automated?
As in, if when i first install pseudoTV on a client, it should go through the setup and ask me if i want to use "multi-room", then i select YES, and click on my server. after that, shouldn't it import all the relevant settings from that, including the central file location? otherwise I get behavior same as I've stated above where it constantly prompts you on startup to autotune channels or select multi-room.
