Hi, I have three questions / requests.

1) I know this is tradition in the Aeon MQ skins, but I was wondering if it's possible to add an option to disable the scroll bar in the 'Wall' view, so if a movie far right is selected and the user presses the right arrow again the selection jumps in the next row instead of selecting the scroll bar. If there are not enough movies for a scroll bar it opens the sub menu instead (which you also access by pressing 'up' in the first row).



I never used the scroll bar and I think it's a bit annoying to go back all the way to jump to the next movie in the list.

2) I was wondering if its possible to increase the character limit of the mini weather in the main menu to avoid "...":



There is so much space, it shouldn't be needed to shorten the text.

3) Dunno if it's a skin setting or something within Kodi. But if I press 's' in the main menu. It asks me for "Herunterfahren". This is german and is usually associated with "Shut down the PC".



But what this option actually does is closing Kodi. So the more correct term would be "Beenden".

edit: I just noticed that I can change the behavior for this button. Still weird to me that they use the same word for two different behaviors. I would still change this translation from "Herunterfahren" to "Beenden". The second term is more general. I never heard someone saying "Herunterfahren" if they just want to close a program.

Howdy...

1) I don't know how to move down to the beginning of the next row in a panel control like the Panel view currently is. The only thing I can do is add code to move down to the item directly below in the next row when you reach the first or last item in a row...but you can already do that by just selecting down.

2) I increased the width of the weather condition. This will be included in the next update.

3) In the Shutdown submenu, the button is labeled "EXIT"...or "VERLASSEN" for the German label. Would you like me to change the button to that text?

Just to make sure, I didn't misunderstand anything. The button is used for both closing Kodi and Shut down the PC, right? And both options must use the same word?
"Verlassen" is a good way to say that Kodi will be closed, but doesnt fit so well, if it also means to shut down the PC.

LOL...no worries. I'm sorry too...I forgot to get back with you. Each Main Menu item should have 20 submenu slots available to use...except the bottom six that are empty by default (they only have 12 open submenu slots). I'm not sure how you ended up with only five open slots for the menu item. Have you tried resetting the skin?

Hm is it possible to add a second button to the s menu, so the user can choose between closing Kodi and shut down the PC? I think Aeon MQ 8 has both buttons, doesn't it?
I've set this button to shut down the PC, because in a perfect world I only boot into Kodi and shut down from Kodi (use my PC as TV box for movies and games). But in reality I still often have to go to desktop to move files, make changes etc. Atm I always have to switch back to Estuary for that, because there is no way out of Aeon MQ 7, if this exit button is mapped to shut down

OK...I added another button to the System Menu named "TURN OFF"...or "AUSSCHALTEN" in German. This button will shut down your system and matches the label in the Shutdown submenu. The "EXIT" / "VERLASSEN" button will only close Kodi.

Yea that's what I was talking about, there is only one button in this menu and what will happen by pressing this button depends on which option you set to exit in the settings.
I was asking for a context menu like in estuary skin where you can do both exting kodi and shut down the system.

Ah I see. I got confused since you used the words "s menu". I assumed you referred to the the submenu. I'm glad Latts was willing to ad an extra option for you.
