in my experiance xbmp has far better imae quality then xbmc . i tried playing around with the filters but got no satisfying results so far . when i change the filter setings i do see a clear diference in the gui but do they really effect video quality or not ?

also i read something here in the forums off ppl testing with and without post proccesing in xbmc but i havent seen it yet in any of the releases i tried . currently im using the 12-9 version .

i really want xbmc to level up to the vid quality of xbmp even if it is just for the pass through feature .

postprocessing is referenced as of the 2-1-04 build. however i find the settings are a bit tricky. however, when you got it it looks better then the previous builds.
