I'm running XBMC on an AppleTV and an Xbox. Since the bulk of my MKV files are HD rips that the Xbox will choke on, I would like to know if there is a way to get XBMC to not process and scrape *.mkv on my shares. Any ideas?

I'm fairly certain this will work (if it doesn't I say it is a bug and you should file a report on trac):

It will also remove it from the non-library views as well.
