Is there a way to get the rss feeds to show the new movies that have been scanned into xbmc?? or another way to show the new movies??
not the recent added under the submenu. but would like to show it under the rss feeds or a pop up of some sort.

I have no clue but that would be a very kool feature. Like a scrolling NOW FEATURING or NEW RELEASES <new movies here> type of thing where the RSS feed is.

yes that is what I am thinking aswell. any developers or code gurus know how to do this or interested in this? Should I post this in the feature requests?? I want to see if there is enough interest first.

I actually had this using php calling a query using http-api. I'm sure this could be done easily using python and the built in webserver...

yea you can do it with python and sql module. python query xbmc library and then write to xml file.

ok I have no idea how to do any coding or programming etc... is anyone interested in doing this?
The reason I want this is when I add movies I would like to show the New Releases to my wife and kids in each profile.
