Sad
i was under the assumption that xbmc automatically looks in f:\games for your games. so i went into xlink kai settings and added g:\games directory so that it will look in that directory also.

now it can't find my games in f:\games. how do i have it look in both directories for my games?

simple - at the moment you can't, i might add this over the weekend.  f:\games is a default, but as soon as you enter your own directory in the kai settings you're replacing it.

i keep all my games on my hdd.  i have maybe about 7 or 8 that are kai supported.  they are all in f:\games under subdirectories.

kai doesn't list all of them on the games menu.  it shows for instance, outrun 2, unreal, and battlefront, but it does not show halo or halo 2.  i have to launch these manually.

these games are stored in f:\games\halo and f:\games\halo 2.

is there someplace i can add them manually?  how does the program find games?  does it just look for all xbes in the defined subdirectory?

thanks for your help!

.peace out.

i spotted a bug just a few mins ago, seems the kai engine can't handle the volume of requests i was sending it (basically in order for everything to work i need kai to send me back some info for each game you have); since this isn't working some games aren't showing up. i'll have a fix in tomorrow/later today.

runtime,

were you able to add this yet? if so, how did you implement it? through the ui, through the xboxmediacenter.xml file or other?

thx

is there a way to pre-define where the game is located.
and i mean the complete path.
when i tried to join/host project gotham 2 xmbc/kai kept on launching doa ultimate.
removing doa let me start pg2 one time, after that it asks for a dvd.
all my settings are correct. and all other games are working oke.

maybe it is an idea to have a pre-defined list of games, which we can edit ourselfs, and if the game is not in that list it will search for it, like the way it is handled now.
