Why does it take forever before the 'Please wait...' dialog disappears in the home screen? It takes about 10 minutes! I'm running XBMC (the SVN revision of today) on the XBOX. Everything else is working perfectly! Thanks a lot!

interesting. I'm running r21689 on an xbox and don't have that problem. what's the debug say?

Haven't updated xbmc yet, Im still on 21559.
Does the update include native media flag reading?

UPDATES
- Media Flag icons for DVD, HDTV & MPEG2 have been added (Thanks SlaveUnit Cool

)
- All images have been removed from the media/subfolders and re-packed into the Textures.xpr in hopes it will help with some of the XBOX issues.

I don't know what's going on with it on the XBOX. I took all the images I had added to media/subfolders and re-packed them in to the Textures.xpr to see if it would help you guys. Please try it out and let me know if it helps.

This is what Im getting with the new Update. I did a clean install. I have updated XBMC to build 61689 Eek

I'll try installing it again.
My home page loads a lot faster than it did before. Big Grin

And I have no idea where this alarm thing came from? Or how to turn it off at start up

One thing I liked with Mediastream is that if you enabled weather to show on the Home screen then it would show on each menu "page". Something like this would be cool.

Home Screen: The current weather shows at top left above Favorites (Favorites icon moves down):

Then show 'Current Temp' panel when you move to the Weather menu to give a little more detail:

Then show the current normal panels with forecast when you enter the Weather menu:

So with this...will it be on every page or off every page and that is the option? Just curious because I didnt like it on every page. I know, cant really please everyone.

I can try to please everyone.....I'll make it an option to show on every page or only on the weather page.

Edit - I think I'll probably just remove the option to toggle off/on the animated icons and have them always on. Then I can replace that with the option to have the weather info on just the Weather page or have it on all pages. I started working on it all, but i'm too buzzed and will have to finish tomorrow. Big Grin

I haven't had the time to create a log yet. It does sound like something is being scanned for. There is a lot of HDD activity the whole time.
Is there any way to disable the script? And what is the script for?
