I think a lot of us are also hoping you will continue this mod once skunkmonkee releases his newer version of mediasteam. Probably too early to tell for now but just a thought.

Just get the mod pack. This mod included in it. It has lots of other new options as well. But you can turn them off if you dont want them and want to stick to JeZZ_X's original look.

Hey there, been using mediastream for a long time but i like the horizontal look of aeon so for me this is a dream come true, I have tried this mod on 3 computer systems (2 vista and 1 xp all running a verison of xbmc current to within a week or so, and on the ol' xbox, my problem is this: with both versions of the mod packs (jezz_x and Aenima99x) I do not see any backgrounds on the home page and on the settings page (borrowed from aeon stark) I do not see any images. It almost appears as though the layers are out of order. any one else experiencing this problem or even better anyone have a fix? thanks in advance.

Did you set the backgrounds in the skin settings?

Yep, having similar issues here running XPSP3. If I define my own custom background for, say, the video folder, then it appears once I enter the folder, but not on the home screen. And if I don't define my own, then I get nothing in any backgrounds at all.

Also, I can't see the pop up menus like in the second pic of the OP. If I select up on the remote from 'Configure The System', then I lose all sight of the 'cursor' as it were. I can hear it moving side to side, but I can't see anything. These menus work fine in the straight Redux without the horizontal mod.

Otherwise, I love what you guys did with the skin. It will definitely be my default if these 2 little problems can be sorted.

Edit: My apologies, this thread seems to explain the reason why backgrounds do not display correctly. Hopefully it fixes the menu issue as well.

I have a little issue with the horizontal menu and hope somebody here can point me the right direction. I use the actual xbmc build on my xbox at 720p. And this is my problem, if I use the resolution 1080i everything works fine, but if I use the resolution 720p my menu looks like that following:

Same issue with the vertical menu, it is to wide.

(By the way, the menu entry "Beenden" is the largest one in the menu.)

I would be grateful for any solution.

Nice mod, my only complaint is about video OSD which is hideous :mad: How hard would it be to replace the current redux/reduxmod OSD with the default horizontal one from the original Mediastream?
