the 'various artists' feature in the album browser is cool, but has some problems. all songs from albums with the same name is treated as one album.
right now i have 327 songs in my "various artists - unplugged" album. over 500 songs in "various artists - best of", and even more in "various artists - greatest hits"!
this can't be right ...
i think if all songs in a directory is by the same artist, it should not be considered as a "various artists" album.
after taking a brief look at the source i also found another problem. the filename of the album cover thumbnails are created by hashing only the album title. this means that we can not have different thumbnails for albums with the same name from different artists:
eric clapton - unplugged
mariah carey - unplugged
bryan adams - unplugged
...must all have the same cover with the current naming convention.
