Asrock ION 330 + XBMC Live = audible pops when video starts/stops
#1
I am running XBMC Live on an Asrock IOn 330 and whenever I start or stop any video, I get an audible click/pop through my speakers. I am running audio though optical SPDIF to a set of Logitech Z-550 surround sound speakers. I've used these speakers with XBMC on the Xbox and never heard this before. Likewise, my main system with a Win PC running XBMC through an Onkyo receiver doesn't do this either. Has anyone else experienced this? I'wondering if it's the Asrock or XBMC Live.

By default, XBMC apparently stops sending audio data when you stop a video. I noticed this when i saw my receiver switching modes etc. but it doesn't pop when doing so.

Here is a related post that should correct the issue (though I have not tested it myself).
