i have a question and hopefully someone can answer.
i have a script package that downloads the latest cvs for people and they can include custom things. one thing i have included as a seprate package to use with their builds is your mplayer.dll and codecs.conf file, along with all the codecs in your codecs.rar file.
you can check out the thread for it
here
anyways, the problem people are having is when they play audio or video with your files, after updating there xbmc to the latest build, the xbox locks up. i experience this as well, but when i wipe my settings then redo them, it doesn;t do it? weird?
so i was wondering, is there a specific setting or data that xbmc saves having to do with the mplayer.dll and codecs.conf it uses? many people say when they change to the latest mplayer from the xbmc cvs, that it works perfect with no hiccups...
i would love to get this issue sorted out, so people do not have to use an inferior mplayer.dll, as i find that yours runs the most different formats without hiccups (well except the one i'm asking help with
