Just wanna clarify ... if I'm playing a movie with AAC 5.1 channel audio, which can't be streamed directly to my receiver over the SPDIF (since my receiver doesn't understand an AAC stream), can the ASRock ION 330 decode the audio and then encode it into DTS or Dobly 5.1 and send it as 5.1 channel audio over the SPDIF link to my receiver? Or in other words, can the ASRock ION 330 do real time Dobly (or DTS) 5.1 channel encoding?

If it can't do such real time encoding then playing a movie with AAC 5.1 channel audio would that mean that I would only get 2 channel PCM audio send over the SPDIF link, correct?
