Hope someone can help here.
Bought an extra 1G stick of RAM from the Nvidia Ion approved list, a Kingston KVR800D2S5/1G (from ebuyer).
Works fine on it's own in my new Revo 3610, but will not work with the existing 1G stick (a constant beep tone ensues). Also, neither stick works in ram slot 2 with slot one unoccupied (the original stick causes a constant beep, the new stick a 1L1S beep tone).
I also took the twin 512mb sticks from my laptop, which would also both work individually, but not together.
What's the best option here?
a) assume slot 2 is broken, and return the revo as broken?
b) buy another 1gb Kingston stick to ensure there isn't a compatibility problem?
