Of course it works, I wouldn't have released it otherwise - all my AVI and ISO files play fine.
semprini Wrote:Great looking skin!
One problem I'm having, though. I don't have the white "transparent" overlay on the screen; I have a black background when no fanart is present, and when fanart IS present, it's completely unobscured...the text is unreadable. There is a white bar at the top of the screen that large enough for the text there, but everything is black below that.
I didn't download the Textures file because I'm running this on my HTPC, not Xbox. I wondered if I actually need that file for it to look like the screenshots posted.
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
Hitcher Wrote:Are you running this as a separate skin or have you copied over the other Alaska files?
Hitcher Wrote:It wouldn't help if I added Favourites to the home screen anyway because it's not even coded.Thanx for the response
Darkcloud28 Wrote:Thanx for the responseBy 'not coded' I mean just that - there's no DialogFavourites.xml in the skin.
but is there a way to add them as my Video plug ?

Having said that, stay tuned because I am working on one.

erhnam Wrote:Is the normal version of Alaska also over to SVN? If so, where can we found it?
Hitcher Wrote:Right, well firstly there's little point in trying to add stuff from the official Alaska unless you know exactly what you're doing and make code changes.
Secondly it sounds like there's a problem with the filter.png so try downloading directly from the source,
