[DEPRECIATED] XBMC Subtitles - Addon Script (previously OpenSubtitles OSD)

What would be the command to run this script from a remote button? In the old days it would be RunScript(/path/to/script.py) but what would it be with the new addon structure?
So in principale I am looking for the right command for remote.xml

  • Added support for Undertexter.se (Swedish and English subtitles only)
  • Improved Subscene.com support:
    - added tv show support

All other scripts/plugins installs just fine.

From your log, it looks like the update process is broken.
It's looking for fanart that doesn't exist and an older version of the addon (script.xbmc.subtitles-1.7.3.zip).

Yesterday I had no problems installing the addon (using xbmc revision r31616 , 04-Jul on Win7).
You could install the addon manually by downloading and unpacking the zipfile and place it in the addons folder.

Hey Amet,

Great addon man, been using for a long time already and I'm very happy with it!!!

I have just been waiting for 1 extra feature: Support for 2 cd (or multi cd) movies.

I've read in the OpenSubtitles thread that you don't have those and I understand it not a priority for you Wink But could you please move this up on your to-do-list, cause it would make this addon perfect for the people who have 2 cd movies Smile

I hope you can think of a solution!

not sure I understand Sad

If you are using the nightly builds, go to "XBMC.org Add-on Repository" and look for "Subtitles", in there you will find XBMC Subtitles

if you are on Camelot or builds that are pre addon merge, you will have to use OpenSubtitles_OSD that unfortunately has issue with podnapisi service in some cases. That has been fixed in XBMC Subtitles.

XBCM Subtitles will only work on Nightlies, OpenSubtitles_OSD is for 9.11

31349 is the XBMC build from the SVN, look here for changes

9.11 is a stable release, codename Camelot. 9.11 = 9 (year 2009).11(November)

next stable release will be called Dharma and it will be 10.05
